Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Undergraduate students interested in conducting research in the Tseng Lab are welcome to contact Dr. Tseng using the following form. Only fully completed applications through this portal will be considered.

Training undergraduate students in research is a substantial commitment of lab resources (both time and money). Please consider the requirements below and seriously evaluate whether you are able to make this commitment.

Requirements of undergraduate researchers in the Tseng Lab:

A minimum commitment of two consecutive semesters
A minimum of 15 hours per week in lab (when taking classes) and 20 hours per week (when not taking classes) during normal business hours (M-F 9a-5p)
Note: more hours are likely needed to succeed in the lab
Attendance and active participation at lab meetings and lab journal clubs
One-on-one project update meetings with Dr. Tseng every two weeks
